The Pack A.D. and Avon Union: Photos

Remember the other day, when I said I needed to learn more about low-light and action photography so I could do a better job shooting shows? Here’s a perfect example of why I want to work on those skills. Last night I went to see Avon Union (above) and The Pack A.D. (at left and below) performing at the Plea for Peace Center, and I brought my camera. Both bands rocked; The Pack A.D. in particular kicked a mountain of garage-blues ass. My photos, however, turned out less than stellar. When I shot with a flash, the subjects in the photos were way too bright. When I turned the flash off, the subjects were way too blurry. I decided to present the photos in sequences here to see if I could salvage something creative and vaguely interesting out of the night.
