The Flash project is done.

It took me about six weeks to complete, and in that time I went from knowing absolutely nothing about Flash to designing, developing and coding in Actionscript CS3 two interactive features. Both will be launched on Recordnet.com tonight, and there will be a teaser story in The Record tomorrow. I’ll post links here tomorrow morning.

Last week I filmed performing arts students at Cesar Chavez High School in Stockton rehearsing for an arts festival. I think it’s my best video to date; the lighting was perfect, the colors were striking and the students were great.

Cinco de Mayo isn’t really about tequila, Reggaeton or the giant inflatable beer bottle that was erected outside one of my neighborhood bars this morning.
