OK, I think I’ve hit on something here. I did a little demolition to clean up the design. The header background image has been removed, as has the menu background color and link hover color. The menu also had a small-caps font variant that I eliminated. I like it.

Damn, it’s dusty around this website. There hasn’t been much time for updates lately; I’ve been commuting more than four hours round-trip daily for my job while freelancing for music publications in Modesto and San Francisco. I need to throw open the windows, sweep out the corners and do some cleaning and maintenance.
