Sorry about the long gap between posts; it’s been a busy few months. On Oct. 11 I started work as the community engagement specialist for KQEDnews.org, and I’ve been spending much of my time commuting (two hours one-way) and learning about the business, public media and San Francisco. I’ve also been doing a fair amount of reading while I develop a social media strategy.

I’ve accepted a new job. Oct. 12 will be my last day as a recordnet Web content producer; on Oct. 18 I start work as the online community engagement specialist for KQED news in San Francisco.
